Multimedia Designer
My name is Unique Patton, and I aim to build on my artistic journey. As a recent Alumni of NC State University, I received my Bachelors of Arts in Design studies with a double minor in Business Administration and art + Design. I desire to create art that will bring me out of my comfort zone and use it to help impact my community. From small sketches to large-scale projects, my art is a highly-personal reflection of myself, my faith, and how I perceive the everyday world.
I’ve been blessed to have participated in collaborative projects, as well as exhibited solo pieces, which has helped me emerge into the artistic world. If you have any questions about my work, please feel free to reach out!

As a designer, I believe that everyone has a story to tell. In my work I want to visually share those stories to open up conversations that can change the perspective of those looking from the outside in on one's experience.

Human-Centered Design
Human-centered design is about building a deep empathy with the people you’re designing for. It consists of utilizing the design process but taking in concern the customer wants needs and experiences.

Public Art
Artwork created for the public sphere that expresses community values, enlightens the environment, landscape transformation, heightens ones awareness, or question our assumptions. Public art can be big or small and can be created for a cause or simply a amplify a voice
Empathy of Shared Experiences
My goal in my art is to use empathy in and outside of my design. Empathy means to put yourself in ones shoes and see a product, statement or situation from that person(s) perspective. I want to inform others about that perspective through art and storytelling.
Creative Thinking
A thought process that allows one to think or brainstorm innovatively by not just looking only to solve the outer problems but the root of the problem in a creative and unique way.

Services
Web Design
I have used various software; Wix, Canva, google slides, and Weebly to create and design websites from scratch and via template use for personal and client use. From using these various tools, I have gained a UX and UI skillset that has enable me to design with the users experience in mind.
Visual Art (Mixed Media)
As an artist I love to create new and innovative things and I am always looking to expand my knowledge about the numerous visual art mediums out. I create many series and public projects with the assistance of Acrylic painting, collages, digital design and sculptures.
Graphic Design
With experiences in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, Autosketch Inventor and Canva, I've made creative designs/projects with teams, personal uses and for clients including but not limited to logos, flyers, usability test, and portfolio designs.
